India has bagged two of Nepal's biggest hydroelectric power projects through international competitive bidding, defeating companies from the neighbouring countries. The 900MW project Arun-3, allocated in 2018, is Nepal's largest project and also, at $938 million, represents India's largest investment in the Himalayan country.
